This report summarizes the results of a field demonstration conducted under the SITE program. The technology which was demonstrated was a solvent extraction technology developed by Terra-Kleen Response Group.

Inc. to remove organic contaminants from soil. The technology employs a propriety solvent to extract the organic contaminants.

Following the extraction, the organic-laden solvent is then filtered and purified, using a proprietary purification unit.

Regenerated solvent is continuously recycled through the contaminated soil until a target cleanup level is achieved.
