Might rock help soak up warming gas?

Carbonate minerals formed by the interaction of carbon dioxide and a rock known as peridotite coverĀ a desert area in Oman that's the size of Massachusetts.A rock found mostly in Oman can be harnessed to soak up the main greenhouse gas carbon dioxide at a rate that could help slow global warming, scientists say.
