IRIS 2008 Agenda: Literature Searches And Request For Information For New Starts IRIS is an EPA database of human health effects that may result from exposure to chemical substances found in the environment.

EPA's process for developing IRIS assessments is described in detail on the IRIS Process Web page .

Each year, EPA develops a priority list of chemicals and an annual agenda for the IRIS program and announces new assessments under review.
