HANDBOOK ON ADVANCED NONPHOTOCHEMICAL OXIDATION PROCESSES

Courtesy Recent Science Inventory records from the EPA  Thu, 10/16/2008 - 07:25

The purpose of this handbook is to summarize commercial-scale system performance and cost data for advanced nonphotochemical oxidation (ANPO) treatment of contaminated water, air, and soil.

Similar information from pilot-and bench-scale evaluations of ANPO processes is also included to supplement the commercial-scale data.

Performance and cost data is summarized for the following ANPO processes: 1) Fenton, 2) ozone/hydrogen peroxide, 3) electrochemical oxidation, 4) supercritical water oxidation, 5) caviation (acoustic, electrohydraulic, and hydrodynamic), 6) electrical discharge-based nonthermal plasma 7) gama-ray, 8)...
