On November 17-19, 1992, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Technology Innovation Office and Risk Reduction Engineering Laboratory, Department of Energy, Corps of Engineers, and California Environmental Preotection Agency, hosted an International conference in San Francisco, CA, to exchange solutions to hazardous waste Treatment problems.

This conference, the Fourth Forum on Innovative Hazardous Waste Treatment Technologies: Domestic and International, was attended by approximately 1,000 representatives from the U.S. and 25 foreign countries.
