Apple's ambitious plans for iPhone

Many analysts expect Apple to sell about 11 million iPhone 3Gs in 2008 and another 25 million in 2009.<br /><br />But some say Apple has even more aggressive plans. The company plans to make at least 40 million iPhones in the next year; selling so many will hinge on global success and fixing connection glitches.
